Appointments

Appointments are typically ½ hour duration. This may vary slightly depending on an individual’s needs and the type of treatment and techniques used. I do my best to keep to scheduled times, but occasionally a treatment may take a little longer than expected.

Bookings are essential

I can be booked up some time in advance (especially in Dargaville). I operate a waiting list, and when cancellations occur I can prioritise those people waiting to be seen. I will endeavour to see all clients as soon as possible.

I require some notice for cancellations

24 hours is preferable, as it allows me time to fill the time slot. If you cannot give 24 hours advance notice, please advise me as soon as possible if you need to cancel or re-schedule. Please consider the needs of others who may be waiting for an opening. Failure to give sufficient notice may result in the treatment fee being charged, either in part or in whole.

If you give no notice and do not arrive for your appointment, the full fee will be charged.

Please arrive on time for your appointment

I endeavour to be flexible, and I understand that small delays can be unavoidable. However, as I operate a half-hour booking schedule, a 5-10 minute delay can significantly reduce the time available for a treatment. I try to accommodate everyone, and being less than 5 minutes late isn’t a big issue.

Note: If you are more than 15 minutes late, there will be insufficient time to treat you.

Clothing

I recommend wearing appropriate clothing for the treatment. In general, I conduct treatments with clients fully clothed. I ask clients to be prepared to remove outer layers of clothing, shoes, and jewelry. Exercise wear such as loose-fitting track pants, shorts or tights, and a T-shirt, singlet or similar is ideal. The bathroom can be used to change into appropriate clothing if needed. If you do not have appropriate clothing with you, I will use towels and blankets to drape over you to lessen your feeling of being exposed.
